Tim Finn is a New Zealand singer-songwriter born in Te Awamutu in 1952. He co-founded Split Enz with Phil Judd and wrote and sang songs including “Six Months in a Leaky Boat” and “I Hope I Never.” His solo work includes “Fraction Too Much Friction,” and he later recorded with his brother Neil Finn in Crowded House and the Finn Brothers.

In 1991, he toured as a member of Crowded House following the release of Woodface. The brothers returned to the road together after the Finn Brothers album Everyone Is Here, playing theatres in 2004. His later retrospective theatre show gathered songs from each phase of his career under the title The Lives and Times of Tim Finn.
