Tina Arena in Saint-Grégoire

Tina Arena is an Australian pop singer and songwriter, born in Melbourne in 1967, who first became known to national audiences as a child performer on Young Talent Time. Her adult recording career includes the album Don't Ask and the songs “Chains,” “Sorrento Moon” and “Burn.” She also established a French-language repertoire through songs such as “Aller plus haut” and “Aimer jusqu'à l'impossible.” The Don't Ask Tour took her around Australia in the 1990s, and in 2000 she performed “The Flame” at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sydney. Her later live projects included the orchestral Symphony of Life concerts and the career-spanning Innocence to Understanding Tour. In France, she has presented her French-language catalogue at L'Olympia in Paris.
