Tish Hinojosa in Taos

Tish Hinojosa is an American singer-songwriter from San Antonio who performs folk and country music shaped by Mexican traditions, singing in both English and Spanish. Her best-known work includes the song “Donde Voy” and the albums Homeland, Culture Swing and Frontejas. The Kerrville Folk Festival selected her as a New Folk winner in 1987, an early milestone in a concert career that has included folk clubs, theatres and festivals in the United States and Europe. She later appeared on Austin City Limits and performed at the White House for President Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
