About Tonino Carotone
Tonino Carotone is the stage name of Antonio de la Cuesta, a Spanish singer-songwriter born in Burgos in 1970. He plays Mediterranean pop rooted in Italian canzone, Latin rhythms and rock, and is best known for “Me cago en el amor” and the album Mondo difficile.
Tonino Carotone performed “Me cago en el amor” at Italy’s Festivalbar as the song reached a wider audience. His subsequent concert work took him through clubs and festivals in Spain and Italy, including Viña Rock in Villarrobledo and the Concerto del Primo Maggio in Rome.
