Tony Carey in Grafschaft

Tony Carey is an American singer, songwriter, keyboardist and producer born in 1953. He played keyboards in Rainbow during the 1970s and appeared on the albums Rising and On Stage. His solo catalogue includes Some Tough City and the songs “A Fine, Fine Day” and “Room with a View”; he also created Planet P Project, known for “Why Me?”. Rainbow’s 1976 tour supporting Rising included concert halls across Europe and dates in Japan, and recordings from that period formed the live album On Stage. Carey was also at the keyboards for the band’s 1977 concert at Munich’s Olympiahalle, later released as Live in Munich 1977.
