Too $hort in Grants Pass

Too $hort is an American rapper born in Los Angeles in 1966 and raised in Oakland, where he began recording and selling tapes in the 1980s. His direct, explicit style became a foundation of his catalog, which includes the albums Born to Mack and Life Is...Too Short and the songs “Freaky Tales,” “The Ghetto” and “Blow the Whistle.” In 2020, he performed with E-40 in a joint Verzuz program centered on their respective catalogs. The following year, they joined Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg for the live debut of Mount Westmore at the Triller Fight Club event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
