Tormentor is a Hungarian black metal band formed in Budapest in 1985. The group plays raw black metal rooted in thrash and speed metal, and is known for the early recordings The Seventh Day of Doom and Anno Domini, the latter featuring vocalist Attila Csihar. The band later released the album Recipe Ferrum!. In 2018, the Anno Domini-era lineup reunited for Roadburn Festival in Tilburg after a long absence from the stage. They followed that show with festival appearances at Brutal Assault in Jaroměř and Beyond the Gates in Bergen.
