Artist
Toundra are a Spanish instrumental post-rock band formed in Madrid in 2007. Heavy guitar passages, expansive melodies and shifts between quiet and forceful sections shape albums including (III), (IV), Vortex and Hex. The group also worked with flamenco singer Niño de Elche as Exquirla on Para quienes aún viven. Touring behind (IV) took Toundra through European clubs and festivals, followed by another international run for Vortex. The band performs as a full instrumental rock ensemble, and its Spanish festival history includes Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Resurrection Fest in Viveiro.
