Artist
Toyah is a British new wave and rock act led by singer and actor Toyah Willcox. Its history began as a band in the late 1970s and later continued under her solo billing. Toyah is known for the albums Anthem and The Changeling, and for songs including “It’s a Mystery,” “I Want to Be Free” and “Thunder in the Mountains.” The Anthem Tour took Toyah around the UK in 1981, followed by The Changeling Tour in 1982. Performances recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in July 1982 became the double live album Warrior Rock: Toyah on Tour.
