TR/ST & Cold Cave in San Francisco

TR/ST is a Canadian electronic project formed in Toronto in 2010 by vocalist and producer Robert Alfons and drummer Maya Postepski. Now centered on Alfons, the project plays dark synth-pop and darkwave and is known for the albums TRST and Joyland, as well as songs including “Sulk,” “Shoom” and “Candy Walls.” After TRST arrived in 2012, TR/ST toured clubs in North America and Europe and performed at Coachella and Primavera Sound. The project undertook another transatlantic run around the two-part The Destroyer release in 2019, including club and theatre dates in Los Angeles and New York.

Cold Cave is an American darkwave and synth-pop project founded in 2007 by singer and songwriter Wesley Eisold. The albums Love Comes Close and Cherish the Light Years, along with songs including “Confetti” and “The Great Pan Is Dead,” established its stark electronic sound. In 2011, Cold Cave performed at Coachella following the release of Cherish the Light Years. The project later supported Depeche Mode on selected dates of the Delta Machine Tour, then opened shows on the 2014 North American tour by Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden.
