Tracy Bonham is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who emerged from Boston’s alternative-rock scene in the 1990s. Her 1996 debut album, The Burdens of Being Upright, introduced her best-known song, “Mother Mother,” alongside “The One”; later records include Down Here and Blink the Brightest.
