trentemøller is the stage name of Danish electronic musician, producer and composer Anders Trentemøller, born in 1972. His catalog encompasses minimal techno, atmospheric electronica, post-punk and shoegaze, and he became widely known through the album The Last Resort and tracks including “Take Me into Your Skin” and “Moan.” Later albums include Into the Great Wide Yonder, Lost, Fixion and Memoria. Live in Concert documented his full-band performance at Roskilde Festival in 2007, following the release of The Last Resort. Tours supporting Into the Great Wide Yonder, Lost and Fixion retained that band framework, while the Memoria Tour again placed him among electronic instruments, guitars, drums and vocals. He has taken the project well beyond Copenhagen, performing at Coachella in California and at Glastonbury Festival in Somerset.
