True Loves is an American instrumental soul and funk band formed in 2014. The group’s horn-led arrangements and tightly worked rhythm section shape albums including Famous Last Words and Sunday Afternoon, as well as tracks such as “Objects in Mirror” and “Did It Again.” True Loves have recorded full-band sessions for KEXP and toured clubs and festivals in the United States and Europe. Those filmed performances document the ensemble’s concert format in its home city of Seattle.
