TSUKEMEN is a Japanese instrumental trio formed in 2008 by violinists TAIRIK and KENTA and pianist SUGURU. The group plays classical crossover, drawing its repertoire from original compositions and arrangements of classical, film and popular music; BASARA is among its best-known albums. The trio has toured concert halls across Japan, presenting two violins and piano as a self-contained acoustic ensemble. Its performances have also reached audiences outside Japan, including a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
