Turmion Kätilöt are a Finnish industrial-metal band formed in Kuopio in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. Heavy guitars, electronic rhythms and predominantly Finnish-language vocals shape albums including Hoitovirhe, Pirun nyrkki, U.S.C.H! and Global Warning; “Teurastaja” and “Verta ja lihaa” are among their best-known songs. Turmion Kätilöt opened for Nightwish on European dates of the Human. :II: Nature. World Tour in 2022, presenting their full-band set in arenas. They followed those dates with a 2023 performance at Wacken Open Air.
