About TwoSet Violin
TwoSet Violin is an Australian classical-comedy duo formed in Brisbane in 2013 by violinists Brett Yang and Eddy Chen. They are known for videos about classical repertoire, conservatory life and the demands of instrumental practice, as well as the recurring character Ling Ling and the phrase “practice 40 hours a day.”
In 2017, TwoSet Violin mounted its first international tour after crowdfunding the production online, presenting a theatre show built around violin performance and comedy sketches. In 2023 and 2024, they followed it with the TwoSet Violin World Tour, performing in concert halls and theatres including David Geffen Hall in New York and the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House.
