Ty Herndon is an American country singer born in Meridian, Mississippi, and raised in Alabama. His 1995 debut album, What Mattered Most, introduced the title song, and his best-known recordings also include “Living in a Moment” and “It Must Be Love.” In 2015, Herndon co-hosted the inaugural Concert for Love & Acceptance at City Winery Nashville. The benefit became a recurring event supporting LGBTQ inclusion in country music, while his other live appearances have included the Grand Ole Opry.
