About UKASUKA-G
UKASUKA-G is a Japanese pop, rock and hip-hop duo formed by Mr.Children vocalist Kazutoshi Sakurai and rapper GAKU-MC in 2013. Their work is closely connected with football, led by the Japan national team support song “Shōri no Egao o Kimi to,” while their releases include the albums AMIGO and Kin'iro BITTER.
They appeared at MIFA CUP 2014 at Nippon Budokan, an event built around the Music Interact Football for All project founded by the two musicians. They later took their songs around Japan on UKASUKA-G TOUR 2019 WE ARE NOT AFRAID!! and returned to concert halls for UKASUKA-G TOUR 2021-22 Additional Time.
