Ulfuls in Kawasaki

Ulfuls are a Japanese rock band formed in Osaka in 1988, playing rock and roll, funk-rock and J-pop. They debuted through Toshiba-EMI in 1992 with “Yabure Kabure” and are known for “Guts Da Ze!!,” “Banzai (Suki de Yokatta)” and the album Banzai. They appeared on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen and received the music prize at the 34th Golden Arrow Awards in 1996. Ulfuls gave their first Tokyo performance in 1990. A five-hour tenth-anniversary concert followed in 2002, and in 2003 they played a free show at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. Their outdoor concert history also includes Yassa.
