Uta Bresan is a German schlager singer and television presenter, born in Dresden in 1965. She studied dance and entertainment music at Dresden’s Carl Maria von Weber music academy between 1984 and 1988, graduating with a state examination. Her albums include Ich wünsch’ mir mehr …, Zum Horizont und noch weiter, Herzgedanken and Ein gutes Gefühl. Her early television appearances included Feuerabend and Sprungbrett, and in 1990 she received the Silberner Bong and the audience prize at the International Schlager Festival in Moscow.
