Vaclav Noid Barta in Hluk

Vaclav Noid Barta is a Czech rock singer, songwriter and actor, born in Prague in 1980. He first became known as the frontman of Dolores Clan and later joined Dymytry. He also represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest with Marta Jandová, performing their duet “Hope Never Dies.” At Hudební divadlo Karlín, he took leading roles in musicals including Aida and Jesus Christ Superstar. That theatre work preceded his 2015 Eurovision appearance, when he and Jandová performed “Hope Never Dies” at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
