Artist
VÆB is an Icelandic pop and electronic duo formed in 2022 by brothers Matthías Davíð Matthíasson and Hálfdán Helgi Matthíasson. They are best known for “Róa,” which represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and the earlier track “Bíómynd.” In 2024, the brothers performed “Bíómynd” in Söngvakeppnin, Iceland’s national selection. They returned a year later, won with “Róa” and advanced through their Eurovision semifinal. The run ended in the Grand Final at St. Jakobshalle in Basel.
