Valeria Lynch in Montevideo

Valeria Lynch is an Argentine singer and actress, born in Buenos Aires in 1952, whose repertoire centers on pop and romantic ballads. She is known for songs including “Mentira,” “Señor amante,” “Qué ganas de no verte nunca más” and “Me das cada día más.” In 1986, she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, a landmark in her international concert history. Decades later, she joined Patricia Sosa for a run of joint concerts released as the live album Las Elegidas.
