Vanessa Paradis is a French singer and actress, born in 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. She became widely known as a teenager through “Joe le taxi” and went on to record pop and chanson albums including Variations sur le même t’aime, Vanessa Paradis and Divinidylle. Her other signature songs include “Be My Baby” and “Divine Idylle.” The Natural High Tour took her on the road in 1993 after the album Vanessa Paradis, and its performances were documented on Vanessa Paradis Live. A 2001 engagement at the Zénith de Paris produced Vanessa Paradis au Zénith, while the Divinidylle Tour later became another concert release. In 2010 she presented an acoustic program at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, preserved as Une nuit à Versailles, before returning to a full-band setting for the Love Songs Tour.
