Véronique Sanson in Longuenesse

Véronique Sanson is a French singer-songwriter and pianist, born in 1949, whose work brings chanson and pop songwriting together. Her 1972 debut album, Amoureuse, introduced songs including “Amoureuse” and “Besoin de personne”; “Vancouver” and “Chanson sur ma drôle de vie” also became central works in her catalogue. A 1976 live album captured her at the Olympia in Paris, while later concert releases documented appearances at the Palais des Sports and the Zénith. She subsequently returned to the road for Les Années américaines, followed by the Dignes, dingues, donc... and Hasta Luego tours.
