About Vertical Horizon
Vertical Horizon is an American alternative rock and pop-rock band formed in Washington, D.C., in 1991 by singer-guitarists Matt Scannell and Keith Kane. The album Everything You Want established the band on mainstream radio through its chart-topping title track, “You’re a God” and “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning).”
In 1997, Vertical Horizon released Live Stages, documenting its early road work after expanding from an acoustic duo into a full band. The group joined Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms and Fastball on the 2013 Under the Sun tour, then later performed in the Eat to the Beat concert series at EPCOT.
