Vesala in Mikkeli

Vesala is the solo project of Finnish singer-songwriter, actor and playwright Paula Vesala, born in 1981 and previously known as one half of the pop-rock duo PMMP. Her self-titled solo album includes “Tequila” and “Tytöt ei soita kitaraa,” songs that established the project’s electronic-leaning pop and rock sound. PMMP played its farewell concerts at Helsinki Ice Hall in 2013. After launching Vesala, she returned to touring with her own material and headlined Hartwall Arena in 2017.
