Víctor Heredia is an Argentine singer-songwriter born in Buenos Aires in 1947, known for folk-rooted songs about memory, political violence and human rights. His best-known works include “Todavía cantamos,” “Sobreviviendo” and “Razón de vivir,” as well as the historical concept album Taki Ongoy. He performed at the Festival Nacional de Folklore de Cosquín in 1967, an appearance that marked the beginning of his professional recording career. In 1983, he toured Argentina in the concert production Argentina quiere cantar together with Mercedes Sosa and León Gieco.
