Vidyasagar is an Indian film composer and singer, born in 1963, whose music is closely associated with Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu cinema. His best-known work includes the scores and songs for Meesa Madhavan, Ghilli and Chandramukhi, as well as the Telugu film Swarabhishekam, which earned him the National Film Award for Best Music Direction.

Vidyasagar marked four decades in film music with the Vidyasagar 40 concert at Chennai’s Nehru Indoor Stadium. The programme presented his cinema repertoire with a live orchestra, and K. S. Chithra and Hariharan were among the singers who performed his songs.
