Vilma Palma e Vampiros in Buenos Aires

Vilma Palma e Vampiros are an Argentine rock band formed in Rosario in 1990 around singer Mario “Pájaro” Gómez. They play Spanish-language pop-rock shaped by ska rhythms and are known for songs including “La pachanga,” “Auto rojo,” “Mojada” and “Bye Bye.” In 1992, they performed in Chile and appeared at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, an early concert landmark outside Argentina. They later toured across Latin America and performed for Latino audiences in the United States. Their concerts use a full rock-band format fronted by Mario “Pájaro” Gómez.
