vinni is a Norwegian rapper and singer, born Øyvind Sauvik in 1976. He first became known as the voice of the hip-hop duo Paperboys, whose songs include “Barcelona” and “Lonesome Traveller.” His solo work includes the album Oppvåkningen, “God morgen Norge” and his recording of “Sommerfuggel i vinterland” from Hver gang vi møtes. As the frontman of Paperboys, vinni spent years touring clubs and festivals in Norway. After Oppvåkningen, he began performing under his own name, combining Paperboys tracks with solo material and his interpretation of the song by Halvdan Sivertsen.
