E.M.D. in Skellefteå

E.M.D. is a Swedish pop trio formed in 2007 by Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo, three singers who had appeared on Idol. They are known for the singles “All for Love,” “Jennie Let Me Love You” and “Baby Goodbye,” as well as the albums A State of Mind and Välkommen hem. In 2009, E.M.D. performed “Baby Goodbye” in Melodifestivalen and advanced directly from the Leksand heat. They then performed the song in the final at Globen in Stockholm, where they finished third.

Danny Saucedo is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and dancer born in 1986. He became known through Swedish Idol in 2006, then established a solo career with songs including “Tokyo,” “Radio,” “In the Club” and “Amazing.” He has also recorded and performed as a member of the pop trio E.M.D. At Melodifestivalen 2011, he performed “In the Club” and reached the final, then returned to the final with “Amazing” in 2012. His later stage work included The Run(A)way Show, presented at The Theatre in Gothenburg and Hamburger Börs in Stockholm.
