Violet Road in Hamar

Violet Road are a Norwegian pop-rock band formed in Tromsø in 2007. Their music draws on indie pop and folk rock, and their best-known songs include “Can You Hear the Morning Singing,” “Burned Like a Candle” and “Face of the Moon.” Albums such as Violet Road and Peter Every and His Marching Band established their melodic, ensemble-led sound. Violet Road have toured widely in Norway as a five-piece, using guitars, bass, drums, accordion and saxophone in concert. They have played indoor venues including Rockefeller in Oslo and outdoor events such as Bukta Tromsø Open Air Festival.
