Virtual Riot & Blanke in Chicago

Virtual Riot is the electronic-music project of German producer and DJ Christian Valentin Brunn. He is known for technically detailed dubstep and bass music, including the tracks “Energy Drink” and “We’re Not Alone” and the album Simulation. On the Simulation Tour, Virtual Riot played clubs across North America in support of the album. He has also performed at bass-music festivals EDC Las Vegas and Lost Lands.

Blanke is the stage name of Australian electronic producer and DJ John Paul Orchison. He makes midtempo bass, melodic dubstep and drum and bass, and is known for “Mixed Signals” with Rezz, “Gorgeous” with Illenium and Bipolar Sunshine, and “One More Day” with Jason Ross and Chandler Leighton. The Earth To The Stars Tour took Blanke across North America as a headliner. His shows are DJ sets drawn from his bass catalogue, while his ÆON:MODE project provides a dedicated outlet for drum and bass; that material has also appeared in his festival performances at EDC Las Vegas and Lost Lands.
