Voodoo Jürgens in Imst

Voodoo Jürgens is an Austrian singer-songwriter, born David Öllerer in Tulln an der Donau in 1983. He writes in Viennese dialect, drawing on chanson, folk rock and Austropop. The song “Heite grob ma Tote aus” and the debut album Ansa Woar established his solo work; later releases include ’S klane Glücksspiel and Wie die Nocht noch jung wor. In 2016, Voodoo Jürgens performed at Popfest Wien during the year of his debut album. He followed that appearance with a 2017 performance at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen. His concerts feature him as lead singer with the band Ansa Panier.
