Artists
Vundabar is an American indie-rock band formed in Boston in 2012 by singer-guitarist Brandon Hagen and drummer Drew McDonald. Its wiry garage rock and post-punk songwriting is heard across albums including Gawk, Smell Smoke and Either Light. “Alien Blues,” first released on Gawk, later reached a much wider audience through TikTok. In 2022, Vundabar performed at Boston Calling in its home city. Later that summer, the band played Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Yot Club is the American indie-pop project of Mississippi-born songwriter and producer Ryan Kaiser. Started in 2019, it is known for lo-fi guitar textures, dream-pop melodies and the song “YKWIM?” from the EP Bipolar. The albums off the grid and Rufus developed that sound beyond the project’s early bedroom recordings. In 2024, Yot Club played clubs in North America and Europe on the Rufus Tour. Those dates brought the layered recordings into a guitar-led band set centered on the voice and guitar of Ryan Kaiser.
