Waking the Cadaver in Frederick

Waking the Cadaver is an American death metal and deathcore band formed in New Jersey in 2006. The group became known for blunt slam riffs, guttural vocals and tracks such as “Chased Through the Woods by a Rapist,” first released on the album Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler. Its later records include Beyond Cops. Beyond God, Real-Life Death and Authority Through Intimidation. After touring behind Real-Life Death, the band broke up in 2015. Waking the Cadaver reunited in 2018 and returned to the stage at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey.
