About Walter Trout Band
Walter Trout Band is the touring blues-rock group led by American guitarist and singer Walter Trout. Before starting his solo career in 1989, he played with Canned Heat and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. His guitar-led catalogue includes “Life in the Jungle,” “Marie’s Mood,” Blues for the Modern Daze and Battle Scars.
The 2000 concert album Live Trout captured the group at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival, while a later Amsterdam performance was released as the concert film Live at the Paradiso. After undergoing a liver transplant, Walter Trout returned to the stage in 2015 as a guest at John Mayall’s concert at Royal Albert Hall.
