Warren Wolf in Walnut Creek

Warren Wolf is an American jazz vibraphonist, composer and multi-instrumentalist, born in Baltimore in 1979. His modern straight-ahead jazz is represented by albums including Warren Wolf, Wolfgang, Convergence and Reincarnation. He is also known for his work with Christian McBride & Inside Straight and the SFJAZZ Collective. Warren Wolf toured and recorded as a member of Christian McBride & Inside Straight, appearing on Kind of Brown and People Music. He later served in the SFJAZZ Collective, performing annual programs that combine new arrangements of a featured composer’s music with pieces written by the ensemble’s members. He also leads small groups under his own name, including Warren Wolf and the Wolfpack.
