Warrior Soul is an American hard-rock band formed in New York City in 1987 by singer Kory Clarke. Its politically charged mix of hard rock and alternative metal took shape on albums including Last Decade Dead Century, Drugs, God and the New Republic and Salutations from the Ghetto Nation; “We Cry Out” and “The Losers” are among its best-known songs. Warrior Soul played Reading Festival in 1991, the year Drugs, God and the New Republic was released. Four years later, the band appeared at Monsters of Rock at Donington Park.
