About Waxahatchee
Waxahatchee is the indie-rock and Americana project of American singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, who started it in 2010 after playing in P.S. Eliot. Named after Waxahatchee Creek in Alabama, the project is known for albums including Cerulean Salt, Ivy Tripp, Saint Cloud and Tigers Blood, as well as songs such as “Fire,” “Lilacs” and “Right Back to It.”
In 2021, Waxahatchee returned to in-person touring behind Saint Cloud, presenting the album with a full band in theatres and at festivals. The Tigers Blood Tour followed in 2024 and included a performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
Waxahatchee performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2021 and played Coachella the following year.
