Artist
Wegz is an Egyptian rapper and singer from Alexandria whose Arabic-language music draws on trap, hip-hop, shaabi and electronic production. He became known for tracks including “Dorak Gai,” “Keify Keda” and “El Bakht.” In 2021, Wegz recorded an NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert backed by a live band. Two years later, he became the first Egyptian artist to perform at Coachella.
