"Weird Al" Yankovic in Salem

“Weird Al” Yankovic is an American musician and comedian, born in 1959, known for pop-song parodies, original comedy songs and polka medleys. His signature recordings include “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Amish Paradise” and “White & Nerdy,” while albums such as Running with Scissors and Mandatory Fun brought those strands together. The Touring with Scissors tour followed Running with Scissors in 1999 and presented his songs through a full band, costume changes and filmed comedy. In 2018, the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour concentrated on originals and lesser-played material in theatres.
