Westbam in Dresden

Westbam is a German DJ and producer, born Maximilian Lenz in Münster in 1965. His records draw on techno, electro and house, and his best-known solo releases include “Celebration Generation,” “Beatbox Rocker” and the album Götterstraße. Westbam performed at the first Love Parade in Berlin in 1989. He later helped establish the Mayday rave in 1991 and became closely associated with its events through decades of DJ appearances, making Mayday a central part of his live history.
