Westerman is the recording name of British singer-songwriter Will Westerman. He writes understated, guitar-led indie pop shaped by folk and electronic music, and is known for songs including “Confirmation” and “Blue Comanche” and the albums Your Hero Is Not Dead and An Inbuilt Fault. Westerman played Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2019, then recorded an NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert in 2020. After An Inbuilt Fault, he returned to full-band club dates, including shows in London.
