Wet Wet Wet in Aylesbury

Wet Wet Wet are a Scottish pop-rock band formed in Clydebank in 1982. They became known through songs including “Wishing I Was Lucky,” “Sweet Little Mystery” and “Goodnight Girl,” while their recording of “Love Is All Around” spent 15 weeks at the top of the UK singles chart and appeared on the soundtrack to Four Weddings and a Funeral. Their albums include Popped In Souled Out and Picture This. In 1988, Wet Wet Wet performed at the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute at Wembley Stadium. Their arena history later included The Big Picture Tour in 2016, which revisited the songs of Picture This. Kevin Simm leads the full-band lineup at the group’s later concerts.

Andrew Roachford is a British soul, R&B and pop-rock singer-songwriter born in London in 1965. He first became known as the frontman and principal songwriter of Roachford, whose self-titled debut included “Cuddly Toy” and “Family Man.” His later work includes the album Permanent Shade of Blue and the song “Only to Be with You.” Andrew Roachford joined Mike + The Mechanics in 2010 and toured as one of the group’s lead singers. The Let Me Fly tour in 2017 was followed by the Looking Back Over My Shoulder tour in 2019, where he and Tim Howar divided the lead-vocal parts in theatres across the UK.
