Artist
What So Not is an Australian electronic music project formed in 2010 by Chris Emerson, known as Emoh Instead, and Harley Streten, known as Flume. Streten left in 2015, making it Emerson’s solo project. Bass-heavy trap and future bass tracks such as “High You Are,” “Jaguar” and the RL Grime collaboration “Tell Me” established its sound, followed by the albums Not All the Beautiful Things and Anomaly. What So Not performed at Coachella in 2017, before the Beautiful Things World Tour supported the debut album in 2018. Emerson later built the Anomaly: Live Mode show around the second album and took it on tour. He has also performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago and Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
