When In Rome in Boston

When In Rome are an English synth-pop group formed in Manchester in 1987. They are known for “The Promise,” included on their 1988 self-titled album and later featured in the film Napoleon Dynamite. A new United States-based version of When In Rome began playing shows in 2006, years after the original group had split. Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann reunited in 2009 as When in Rome UK, while the American lineup later performed as When in Rome II under Michael Floreale.
