Artist
Whitey Morgan and the 78's are an American outlaw-country band from Flint, Michigan, led by singer-songwriter Whitey Morgan. Their hard-edged honky-tonk and country-rock sound is heard on albums including Sonic Ranch and Hard Times and White Lines, and in songs such as “Me and the Whiskey” and “Bad News.” Born, Raised & LIVE from Flint captured the group before a hometown audience after years of road work in American honky-tonks and clubs. The release documents their full-band format, centered on Morgan’s baritone, electric guitars and pedal steel, at The Machine Shop.
