Will Kimbrough in New Orleans

Will Kimbrough is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer from Mobile, Alabama, whose music draws on rock, country, folk and Americana. He first recorded as the frontman of Will and the Bushmen, later formed The Bis-Quits with Tommy Womack and established a solo catalogue that includes This, Americanitis and Wings. Jimmy Buffett recorded his song “Nobody from Nowhere.” Will and the Bushmen toured the US club circuit during the 1980s, giving Kimbrough his first sustained experience on the road. He later toured as a guitarist with Todd Snider and joined the band supporting Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell in concert following Old Yellow Moon. His other stage work included performances with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band.
